I Will Never Forget You

Have you ever felt forgotten by God? Many of us have experienced this feeling at one time or another. It often happens when we can't see God in the storm or understand His actions.

During times of affliction and difficult trials, we may begin to think that God has forgotten and/or abandoned us, especially when we cannot see the whole picture.

The people of Israel felt the same way during times of trouble and hardships. They complained that the Lord had forsaken them and forgotten them. But God answered them in Isaiah 49:16-17 - “Can a woman forget her nursing child and not have compassion on the son of her womb, that is, the one she bore? Surely, they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you in the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before Me.”

The inscription on the palms of God’s hands is the nail prints left on Jesus during His crucifixion. Therefore, He can never forget you. Your cries are daily before Him. So keep praying, take courage, and wait patiently for Him. God works out His purposes often behind the scenes and desires that we trust His wisdom and everlasting love for us.
